week 1-Hello my name is Anna Daughetee and I am from France, this is my weapons. My country conquers a huge empire, and we have a dictatorship as our government. Our prime minister is George Clemencceau. Above is my family. We are involved in the war because we had a treaty with Russia and Britain. European Nations felt the tension between Germany and us (France) who had almost gone to war over a colony in Africa, then the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand hit. I am sad to hear that the Archduke got killed, but i dont think Austria-hungry should have declared war on Serbia and i definitly think that Germany should have supported them and declared war on Russia, because we are allies with them which means we now have to go to war. Now that we are in the war, Great Britan backs us up and is also in the war.
week2- Our battle plan is to dig trenches so we can defend our country and not get "pushed back." We will use tear gas, gernades and riffles and fight our enemies. These will be effective because we're down in trenches, when people aproach us we can already be attacking them because they won't be able to see us until they are very close. We will invade Germany so they have to "run" the other way while our allies (Russia) are doing the same thing, so they will have nowhere to go.
This poster is saying that France is waiting for the united states to come help them in the war. I know this because it has a strong looking dog on it wearing an american flag bandana, it also says watchful-waiting towards the bottom of the poster.
I hear that U.S. is entering the war, to help defend us. German submarines attacked a ship carrying 128 united states passengers, which Germany thought was bringing supplies to us. Im not real sure if it was in fact carrying supplies but all that matters is that the U.S is now joining the war on our side and Russia dropped out, so we're definitly going to win now!
Christmas is always fun, but this year it was defintly different. the enemies decided we shouldnt be fighting on christmas, so we paused and ate chocolate and played soccer and games. At first i was aprehensive because i thought it was a trick to kill us faster and easier or something and im still thinking its a trick. I just went along with it, i needed to get out of those trenches and talk just casually, im sure its going to be hard to kill them now since we've talked. Now that i think about it thats probably the whole reason behind them doing it!

Back home, thousands of houses have been drestroyed, and the same with factories, He wants Rhineland to to prevent Germany from attcking France again at a later time.
